Viral Advertising
Viral marketing and viral advertising refer to marketing techniques that use pre-existing social networks to produce increases in brand awareness or to achieve other marketing objectives (such as product sales) through self-replicating viral processes, analogous to the spread of pathological and computer viruses.( wikipedia)
this gives us an idea of what Viral advertizing is about. actually i agree with Mr Matt Golding when he said that "viral adverts only work if they are genuinely interesting enough for people to want to pass on." which means that people would not accept to watch the Viral add if they are not really interested in it.
personally, i got pumped many times by the viral adds when i serf the net, but i usually close the window; however, when i feel interested by a specific add, then i enjoy watching it.
i think the Viral advertising will be very promoted in the future because in my opinion, companies will start to compete each other and try to produce sometyhing original and unique using creativity and modern teckniques.
I think one should start a start up in Viral advertizing in Morocco because first it is not common in Morocco
second because more and more Moroccans are using the net
and Third, because there is not potential competition.
